02 Spanish Lesson – Preterite – Stem-changers (o-u)

This video lesson covers verbs that stem change (o-u) and (e-ie) in the yo, tú, él, ella, usted, ellos, ellas, and ustedes forms in the present but do something a little different in the preterite. It’s a little longer than I was hoping but, enjoy!

Another great …
Another great lesson! I love your saying: “In the present, it’s a shoe; in the past it’s ni yo ni tu.” That will help me remember it. I also like the reminder: “in the present, it’s a shoe; in the preterite, it’s a slipper.” Very good tricks to remember when (and when not) the changes apply. Thanks again!
