Can you provide a language translator ( from any language of a site in to English ) in Yahoo Tool bar?

At times our friends abroad write to us in French, German, Etc., languages or they have their sites in such languages that are not in English.
So, if we have a translator software in to
English in the Yahoo toolbar itself it would be very handy.

Click on the green plus symbol at the end of the toolbar.

Click on the "Add Apps" tab at the top.

Add the application marked "Translate Pate" by clicking on the "Add" at the top of the application. The Icon looks a bit like a goldfish to me! This translates pages into English.

Click on "I’m Done" at the bottom when you have finished.

In the US ARMY how can I go forward becoming an American Sign Language translator?

Or after I get out of the Army, of however long I choose to serve?

What is the MOS I can aim for to have that can work with ASL like that?

I don’t know if I explained that correctly =l
I read a lot of places online, that I can’t PROOVE to you at this moment, but, I read that its not possible to work with Sign Language in the US ARMY.

I have never heard of Sign Language specialists in the Army. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist, but I would probably have heard of it.

You could join the Army for any other job, then use your Tuition Assistance while you are serving, and your GI Bill money once your finish, to pay for sign language classes.

Many people complete their education this way.

What is a good free language translator?

Can any one recommend a good (as in accurate and user-friendly) free language translator program?

try this one it is insanely awesome ^.^

http://www.freetranslation.com/

but be sure to only use online translators for like maybe a word or two(not whole sentences or paragraphs) ur having trouble with! they aren’t reliable and u can wind up with the most incorrect answer

oh and btw….whatever you do, don’t use google translate!!!!! it will translate out of order(u know how in diff languages the verbs and adjectives go in diff places in the sentence) and a lot of times it gives a diff word that makes no sense!

where can i find a language translator online that translates as you type?

i knew one before but i lost it when i closed the window. i can’t remember what it’s called or anything.

I don’t know one "as you type", but if you go to www.dictionary.com and simply click on the ‘translator’ tab, that will help you. It has a lot of different translations, and all you have to do is click the little button and translate it. It works.

What is the average salary of an American Sign Language translator?

According to the US Dept of Labor:

Salaried interpreters and translators had median hourly earnings of $16.28 in May 2004.

The middle 50 percent earned between $12.40 and $21.09. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $9.67, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $27.45.

Earnings depend on language, subject matter, skill, experience, education, certification, and type of employer, and salaries of interpreters and translators can vary widely. Interpreters and translators with language skills for which there is a greater demand, or for which there are relatively few people with the skills, often have higher earnings.

For those who are not salaried, earnings may fluctuate, depending on the availability of work. Furthermore, freelancers do not have any employer-paid benefits. Freelance interpreters usually earn an hourly rate, whereas translators who freelance typically earn a rate per word or per hour.

Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, 333 Commerce St., Alexandria, VA 22314. Internet: http://www.rid.org

Good luck!
